Nice composition Balaji. However, I would have liked the image to be more sharper. What is the ISO that you used and did you use a tripod ?

I used the ISO 50, and Aperture F/4.1, and did not use tripod, any tips on getting a much more sharper image.

To be very frank I have not been able to take any great photos in the dark till now so you may have to take my tips with a pinch of salt :-). Anyways, I think the ISO is way too small for so little light. I would have jacked up the ISO to at least 200 if not 400. At that level, the noise also will increase but hey who said you can have the cake and eat it too ;-). And a tripod is a must. Try it out and let me know.

Why don't u subscribe to Better Photography magazine ? They give you an excellent Velbon tripod, ideal for indoor photography. The magazine is pretty decent too.

I agree with suyog here! the pic should have been a bit sharper that what it is now! lower iso demands longer exposure times for low light and if a tripod is missing then the image generally turns out blurred! try this again with higher iso and with a tripod!
